ABOUT US
- To advance Chinese-American interests in important city-wide activities especially, but not limited to, cultural and public school education, local issues, and diversity.
- To support members with opportunities for involvement in the Newton community through volunteerism, networking, and social events.
- To collaborate with City residents, municipal offices and community organizations for the contribution to wellness and quality of the Newton community life.
The purposes of CAAN are promoted through advocacy, cultural awareness, and educational programs directed toward city residents, officials, and the general public; developed through designated projects and programs; and governed and qualified by the basic policies set forth in our bylaws.
